habitat 40 architecture is a Denver-based practice geared towards design solutions that stem from curiosity and empathy, celebration of context and craft. We strive to explore and cultivate people’s connection to each other and the environment – mutually restorative by design. Our work centers around residential architecture, including single-family new construction, additions, renovations, and adaptive-reuse projects. We believe contextually driven design is timeless, sustainable, and free from trend.

Habitat 40 provides a complete set of architectural services, encompassing multiple design iterations to meet the optimal programmatic, aesthetic, and budget goals – from building code analysis and conceptual design through permitting and construction administration phase. Members of our team with extensive construction cost estimating experience also offer preliminary budget analysis, in tandem with the initial architectural consultation.
